In today’s world, educators face increasing demands: emotional exhaustion, feelings of inadequacy and limited resources, all while trying to support young people from diverse backgrounds who may struggle with learning difficulties and life challenges. The Global MARKED Educator Training program is for professionals working with young people and young adults, designed to help them to do meaningful work in a sustainable way.

By strengthening educators' own self-esteem, professional identity, and social-emotional skills, we help them to navigate the increasing pressures of their work and to activate their inner strengths. Our mission is to foster respect, hope and love in educators, who will, in turn, spark those within the young people they work with.

The Global MARKED Educator Program

Developed by Finnish education experts, the Global MARKED Educator Program offers a transformative learning journey based on Self-Determination, Growth Mindset, Psychological Capital and Purpose theories. Using solution-focused coaching methods, the program fosters deep self-reflection, collegial support, and professional growth.

After completing the program, educators strengthen their professional identity and confidence, using their strengths and adopting a solution-focused mindset. They gain expertise in social-emotional skills, deepening their ability to build powerful, supportive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. This empowers them to create inclusive learning environments where every student has equal opportunities to develop positive self-perception, social-emotional skills and the sense of purpose in their life.

The Global MARKED Educator Program:

The first model explores how personal strengths, emotional experiences, and understanding neurodiversity influence learning, motivation, self-regulation, and self-evaluation.

The second module focuses on understanding and developing social-emotional skills to create safe and inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.

The third module encourages participants to explore their core values, discover what brings meaning to their lives, and define the change they want to make.

Join the Global MARKED Educator Community!

The Global MARKED Educator training program includes eight training days, organized into four two-day sessions. The first and last sessions are held in person, while the remaining sessions take place online. Between each session, participants are provided with reflection tasks to integrate their learning into daily practice.

Participants gain access to an online platform, which offers materials from the training sessions, opportunities for interaction and a collegial community for support. At the end of the program, participants receive official Global MARKED Educator Certificates that also allows them to start the MARKED with Purpose Youth program for youths.

Anne-Mari Kuusimäki, PhD
Head Trainer, Global MARKED Educator program

Anne-Mari Kuusimäki, with over 20 years of teaching experience and more than a decade of training educators and youth professionals, leads the Global MARKED Educator program. She firmly believes that every educator is a true changemaker.

Anne-Mari holds a PhD in Philosophy (Education) from the University of Helsinki and is a certified solution-focused trainer and coach, as well as a solution-focused neuropsychiatric coach. She is also studying cognitive behavioral therapy. Committed to excellence, Anne-Mari equips educators to thrive with mental and well-being skills.
